Make plans to join us on Tuesday, October 1st, to celebrate 🎉 Henderson being the 1st Imagination Library Chapter in Kentucky! There will be live music, free books, painting activities, miniature golf, and sweet treats! The “Up in Smoke” food truck will be there! “Bluey is coming; are you? 5:00-7:00, Audubon Mill Park. We hope to see everyone having a great time!

Congratulations to Holy Name teacher, Lindsay McCall, for being selected to receive an Engagement Grant from the HKEF! Board president, Bill Floyd, and director, Patty Sellers, presented funding for a “Garden Wall” growing project in her classroom.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides a free book each month to registered children between the ages of birth to five years old. The Henderson Kentucky Education Foundation is the local affiliate that administers the program and provides funding for the monthly shipping of books to children’s homes. There are currently 1,430 children in Henderson County enrolled in the Imagination Library program. Visit imaginationlibrary.com to register a child between the ages of birth to five and they will start receiving a free book each month within 8-10 weeks.
