The Henderson Kentucky Education Foundation is committed to supplying additional funding for innovative classroom and school projects in Henderson County. Engagement Grants are awarded through an application process annually. Awarding scholarships to students is a future goal of the organization that we are very excited for!

We are currently seeking donors to continue awarding Engagement Grants and to increase participation in the Imagination Library Program. If you wish to make a difference in a local classroom or help young children receive free books, please donate today. All contributions are tax deductible!

Imagination Library
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge to children from birth to age five, through funding shared by Dolly Parton and local community partners.

The Teacher Store
The Henderson Teacher Store is a joint project between the Henderson Leadership Initiative Education Group of 2023 and the Henderson Kentucky Education Foundation. The store provides free teaching and learning supplies to area classrooms at no cost to the teachers. This project represents strong collaboration between area businesses, civic groups, individuals, and our schools.
